Cookie Policy
The short version
- Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. We use a few essential ones to keep the site working, and, only if you accept them, a few more to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising.
- You choose. The bar at the bottom of the page lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies, and the Cookie Settings link in the footer lets you change your mind any time.
- Declining does not limit what you can do on the site.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies) and some stay for a set period (persistent cookies). Similar technologies include pixels (tiny images that tell an advertising service a page was viewed) and local storage (a place in your browser where a site can save a setting, such as your cookie choice).
2. The cookies we use
Essential cookies (always on)
These are needed for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They include the cookie that remembers your cookie choice, and the cookies our website platform uses to keep forms, the appointment calendar and chat secure and working.
Analytics cookies (only if you accept)
These help us see which pages people visit and how they move through the site, so we can improve it. The data we look at is aggregated; we do not use it to identify you by name.
Advertising cookies (only if you accept)
These let us measure whether our advertising on services such as Google or Facebook brought people to the site, and they may be used to show you our ads on those services. They are set by those companies and are governed by their privacy policies.
| Cookie or tool | Type | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| mpf_cookie_consent, mpf_consent | Essential | Remembers whether you accepted or declined cookies. | 12 months |
| Website platform cookies (LeadConnector) | Essential | Keep forms, the appointment calendar, chat and page security working. | Session to 12 months |
| Google Analytics (for example _ga, _ga_*) | Analytics | Counts visits and page views so we can see which content helps people. | Up to 2 years |
| Meta Pixel (_fbp) and Google Ads (_gcl_au) | Advertising | Measure whether our ads led to a visit or an appointment request. | Up to 3 months |
Analytics and advertising tools are only used when they are enabled on our site and you have accepted cookies. The list above may change as we add or remove tools; this page is updated when it does.
3. Managing your choices
On this site: use the bar that appears on your first visit, or open the Cookie Settings from the link in the footer or the button below. Your choice is saved for 12 months, then we ask again.
In your browser: every major browser lets you delete cookies and block new ones. Look for "cookies" in your browser's settings or help pages (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all have a page for it). Blocking all cookies may stop some parts of this site, such as the appointment calendar, from working.
4. Third-party tools
You can also limit advertising cookies directly with the companies that set them: Google's Ads Settings and Analytics opt-out add-on, Meta's Ad Preferences, and the industry opt-out pages at aboutads.info and networkadvertising.org.
5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. Because there is no common standard for how websites should respond, our site relies on the choice you make in the cookie bar instead. If you decline cookies, we treat that as your instruction for all non-essential cookies.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when we change the tools we use. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
7. Contact us
